Even till the time of filing this report, the people of Okinni In Egbedore local government area of Osun state are yet to recover from the loss of a man identified as Gafar who committed suicide on Monday.
Gafar who committed the act by hanging himself was found dangling lifeless in the house after his son's cry for help alerted the entire neighborhood.
Amiloaded gathered that the reason for the deceased's action may not be unconnected to his recent poor condition as he was said to have sold his motorcycle which was his sole means of survival.
While speaking with Amiloaded, Gafar's Son revealed that having three square meal per day has been very difficult for them for lately, adding that the whole family could not eat throughout the last Sunday while his father only offered the only #50 note he had, before his suicide on Monday morning.
The boy explained that his mother had embarked on a journey earlier in the morning, and has yet to returned.
However, officers from the Dada estate police Station had visited the scene of the incident and have taken the remains to the mortuary.
