The president Federal Rebulic Of Nigerian, President Muhammad Buhari said, the enforcement of Bank verification number (BVN) and the Information Communication Technology (ICT) help Federal Government to save 24.7billion every month.
This development was made known by the president following the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) national Conference held in Abuja on Tuesday.
The Integrated payroll and personnel information system and the Bank verification number which eradicates Ghost workers as the as FG realises 20 billion from this monthly.
The Treasury Single Account (TSA) has made alot of impact in the federal government financial management, the implementation was not easy, it was true this channel we realised 4.7billion 20,000 Ghost workers.
Since the inception of this administration that we adopted the Treasary Single Account, the integrated payroll and personnel information system ( IPPIS) and Bank verification number (BVN), there is transparency, accountability in the government.
The CHANGE will surely prevail with the support of Nigerians, the Information Communication Technology has transformed many things in Nigeria where we accounted for 20000 thousand Nigerias ghost workers receiving 20 billion Monthly, the ICT help to prevail the secrets of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) ,the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) and. Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS)
